Episode 2: Home, But Not Home

Nova Scotia is Home to over a million people. In recent years many have made Nova Scotia a new home for themselves and family. People from all over the world come to Canada and make a new home for themselves here. What a great complement it is to see the world viewing Canada as a great nation! And yes Canada has such potential to become a beautiful home for many. However, as new people come into Canada or Canadians move to different provinces it is becoming more apparent than ever that some Canadians feel like the country is drowning and can do so much better for us.

This episode of Do You Know What Blows My Foghorn will be a deep dive into how once upon a time Nova Scotia was my home, but the sense of home does not make sense anymore. I will be going through my thought process on how government priorities have changed my opinion of what are essential things for me to call a place home.

The world is so focused on the physical appearance of people. 9/10 chances an individual is making a New Years Resolution that focuses on making them look better. Whether to eat better or go to the gym. Those 2 are very important and are a good way to blow off some steam to better your physical and secondarily your mental health. However, do you make it a primary New Years Resolution goal to focus on your mental well being? Also, this episode will have a great friend of mine who is a Councillor that will help me bring to light the importance of self awareness. Will we agree on certain conversations or clash? Trailer

From a young age following the world’s political views as seen from his father’s view. Views which have made him hate politics. Being brought up in a Christian home with an atheist parent, Jehovah’s Witness grandparents and best friends which have a strong faith in Islam.

An upbringing that has left him questioning religion. Having to juggle 2 worlds, cultures, and morals day by day and act as if that’s normal. A culture shock that has allowed him to make his own world and morals. Following a path that no one in his family could understand, whether it was right or wrong. A path that has led him to medicine, entrepreneurship and a solid political stance on many national and international issues we face today.

You know what blows my fog horn? Well, you are about to find lots of it.
